The same library, browsed the way you’re thinking about it: by album when you want a record, by composer when you’re in the classical shelves, by search when you know the name.
Albums
Section titled “Albums”The default view is a grid of covers. Sort it by title, artist, year, or date added, in either direction; you can stack several criteria, and the choice sticks. Click an album for its releases and tracks. A Shuffle Library button at the top starts playback across everything you have.
Composers and works
Section titled “Composers and works”The composer view is built for classical listening, where the album is often the wrong unit. Composers are listed with their works; a work shows its parts, the releases it appears on, and the recordings of it. Sort composers by name, by how many works of theirs you have, or by how many releases they appear on. This view exists wherever your metadata carries work and composer credits, which identified releases from MusicBrainz usually do.
Search
Section titled “Search”Search from the title bar (press /) finds albums, tracks, composers, and works as you type. Selecting a result jumps to it.
On the phone
Section titled “On the phone”iOS and Android browse the same library the same way: album grid, composer view, search, and per-album release choice. Pull down to refresh sync.
